Last March 22, the forty contestants of the 2014 Binibining Pilipinas were presented to the public as they paraded around the Araneta Center grounds on top of colorful floats.
The parade left its starting point at the Cubao Expo Center in front of Farmer's Market at around 4:30pm and made its way around the Araneta Center. The aspiring beauty queens wore brightly colored bikinis and ornate headdresses, each complementing the overall theme of the parade. The contestants will compete against each other during the grand coronation night this Sunday, March 30.
The reigning queens of Binibining Pilipinas were also part of the Parade and had a float of their own. Ariella Arida, Mutya Johanna Datul, Bea Rose Santiago and Joanna Cindy Miranda were in full regalia, donning the crown and sash they all won from last year's international pageants. All the contestants converged at the Gateway Pavillion where the parade ended. Each contestant was given the chance to introduce themselves as the crowd cheered for their favorites in the lineup. Confetti blasts marked the end of the affair.
Wearing the crown and sash that they won from their respective international pageants, the reigning queens of Binibining Pilipinas graced the parade with their presence (L-R) Miss Universe 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida, Binibining Pilipinas - Tourism 2013 Joanna Cindy Miranda, Miss Supranational Mutya Johanna Datul and Miss International Bea Rose Santiago.
